eHealth Forum DHealth Conference & Exhibition

The eHealth Forum is an initiative created in Greece to promote eHealth in Southeastern Europe and to build new partnership relationships among international eHealth projects. To that end, we are organising the only international eHealth event in the Southeastern region of the European Union. In 2016 -over 3 days- it hosted 170 speakers from 21 countries with an audience ranging from policy makers, clinicians, patients, IT specialists to the public.

In 2017 we anticipate a much larger audience, thus we have moved to a larger venue in the centre of the city and we have extended it to 6 days, including the main DHealth Conference, the International HL7 IHIC 2017 event, a Digital Health Exhibition space open to the public and a Startup Garden that will host health IT startups from all over Europe. We are also starting a dedicated Education section to get the public more involved in what is happening, where we intend to include medical informatics schools, students working on health IT projects, startups and hopefully some null working on the promotion of digital health. HIMSS Europe will also participate with a workshop on EMRAM for CIO’s, and several other EU projects like the IC-Health, ActiveAge, eHealth-HUB etc. featuring with a dedicated workshop on GDPR.
