    1. Tell us a bit more about yourself, your background and what you’re doing now.

Thank you so much for this opportunity! I am so excited to give my support to Digital Health Today and be part of this fantastic team sharing our experiences and passion for digital health. I’m a Mechanical & Biomedical engineer and I graduated from the University of Calabria in Italy. I decided to pursue this degree with the goal of contributing to and improving the quality of life for patients by creating new solutions. During my thesis degree, I collaborated with the San Carlo Hospital to simulate extracorporeal circulation with a mathematical model. I started my career in a multinational healthcare company learning more about the healthcare system from different perspectives. To increase my knowledge and business management, I decided to get my Executive MBA at SDA Bocconi. Currently, I’m in an international position in a large medical device corporation and I’m responsible for business intelligence for diabetes therapy. In addition, I’m a mentor for full time students pursuing an MBA at SDA Bocconi, and I’m also a member of the Digital and Innovation Topic Bocconi Alumni.

    2. How did you get involved with digital health?

My passion for digital health grew during my executive MBA. I had the chance to reflect and study how new technologies can impact and improve the healthcare system during my entrepreneurship concentration. In my current company, digital technology is improving remote patient control and creating a value-based healthcare approach. I’m excited to be a part of creating personalized and digital solutions as they completely transform and improve the quality of life for the patients.
