Digital Health Today will be heading to Austin this week for SXSW! The conference has turned into a key event around tech and innovation those past years and the healthcare segment keeps growing every year.
The Health & Medtech track sessions will be presented by Kaiser Permanente. Some of the interesting topics include mental health, big data, precision medicine and the opioid crisis.
Here’s our list of just some of the great sessions we are looking forward to during SXSW:
- David Feinberg, who is leading Google’s efforts will discuss with Dr Clay Johnson, founding dean of the highly innovative Dell Medical school at UT Austin, the future of health, 10 years from now. Google is clearly making a move into healthcare so it will be very interesting to get insights on their future plans.
- AI will be another key topic this year, with an interesting session with IDx, the 1st company to receive FDA clearance for their AI diagnostics radiology solution. They will share their experience navigating the regulatory US landscape and will discuss the future of diagnostics.
- Startup Colors are organizing a Healthtech Innovation Day on March 9th from 12pm with panel discussions around voice and AI, healthcare and sci-fi or patient empowerment. Check the program here.
